Along the path are diverse wildlife and native plants, without the distraction of street traffic. This area is part of the St. Louis history as evidenced by it's trailhead at the old Laclede Power building, which is slated for renovations. The Coast Guard operates a rest area Tuesday to Friday 7 am to 7 pm, and on the weekends 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with restrooms and water. |
