Rider's Comments: (Refers to original trails, more have been constructed since then)  Located west of Joliet on Black Road, this former quarry now features ponds and wetlands that support abundant waterfowl. A 1.2-mile asphalt trail with interpretive signposts loops around the wetland. Two short .4-mile crushed limestone side trails run through a sedge meadow and a prairie.
