Rider's Comments: You can access this 2.5-mile path near Lockport's Pioneer Settlement. Going south, the path runs along the canal and leads to Lock #1 near Division Street. This is the first of a series of 15 locks that were built on the I&M Canal and are many which can be seen on the trail.

The trail continues south of Division and left of the I&M Canal. Head south for another mile to Dellwood Park (above) and Fraction Run Creek. Here the trail is crushed limestone. If you are headed to Dellwood Park, walk your bike across the railroad tracks and past the narrow trail along the cliff.
