Directions for parking: There is a $5.00 parking fee per car Monday to Thursday and $10 Friday to Sunday if you are not a Lake County residence.  Beach access is available for $3 per person if you live in Lake County or $6.00 if you are not from Lake County.  Parking is located on Buckley Road (Route 137) just east of Milwaukee Avenue (Route 21) and west of River Road.
Hours of Operation: 6:30 a.m. to sunset.  The Visitors Center is open daily from 9 am - 4:30 pm.  Café open daily 10:30 am - 4 pm, Memorial Day through Labor Day
