Rider's Comments: You can learn about everything from subatomic particles to bison at FermiLab.  Built in the 1950s, FermiLab is on the cutting edge of particle acceleration research.  However, don't miss the woods, ponds, and prairie.  The top floor (15th) is open for observation, and can provide a spectacular view of the Fox Valley.
