Directions for parking: For parking, take 75th street south to 79th Street.  Follow 79th street to Thunderbird road south.  There is a newly paved parking lot.

Editor's Comments:  The trail has recently expanded into the landfill's future use area, but has not yet been reflected on the trail maps.


Rider's Comments: This trail is great for the beginner to the experienced.  The trail has a great view of IL 53 and offers a good start for fat tire biking and moderate biking for those with more experience on the mowed turf.   After rains, watch out for ruts.  On the gravel trails, look out for the horse dung.
