Located in the Ned Brown forest preserve, a 3,700 acre holding with a 590 acre lake as its focal point, is this beautiful trail allowing access to the parks many features, including the elk.

Rider's Comments: This trail is so popular on summer weekends with joggers, inline skaters and bikers that the 12 m.p.h. speed limit is often enforced. It is a nice excursion in an otherwise busy and congested area. Fishing is popular in the lakes, where boats are available for rental.

The trail is nicely paved.  Go during the week and the usage drops significantly.   A great trail, although can be busy on the weekends.
