Rider's Comments: This trail was recently connected to the Herrick Lake Forest Preserve to the west (1.4-mile connection). Make sure you remain on the regional trail when you enter the trail behind the main barn. The nature trail has been designated for walking and skiing only. If the Center is not busy, stop in at the barn and ask to see the horses. This is a meticulously maintained horse farm.
